Our School

George Gordon Education Centre is located on the George Gordon First Nation, south of Punnichy, SK.  GGEC is a PreKindergarten to Grade 8 elementary school with approximately 170 students.  We are proud to be the GGEC Grizzlies and live our school motto:  "Respect Yourself; Respect Others".

 

The school mission statement is one we take seriously:  "GGEC will provide an opportunity for our students to learn in a safe, enjoyable atmosphere filled with mutual respect and understanding".  As well, our vision continues to be that we "instill in our students a sense of cultural identity and self-respect along with the confidence to acquire and learn the skills and abilities needed to achieve success in todays world".
